In response to ever-increasing school budget cuts, our Positive Opportunity Funding Awards (POFAs) provide added classroom support and countless youth opportunities and resources that otherwise would not be available to far too many children. Teachers whose classes we work with fill out a simple request form and we do whatever possible to provide the funding and/or resources to fulfill the requests that will boost kids’ esteem, character development, and enrichment! POFA Grant Awards run the gamut — PE equipment, musical instruments, learning materials, incentive/reward prize boxes, field trip funds, student dictionaries, and art supplies are just a few of the nearly 500 POFAs we have awarded over the years!
